American-style craft beer from Vietnam finally arrives in Koh Samui


Award-Winning Craft beer brewery from Vietnam is making grand entrance on Koh Samui with upcoming (2.4.2017)  “tap takeover & meet the brewers” event at newly launched craft beer bar and 10 taps tap room; The Beer Masons – Koh Samui at Chaweng beach road.

Pasteur Street started with a simple idea to combine American craft brewing techniques with Fresh and Exotic Vietnamese ingredients to create amazing craft beer. Since its inception, PSBC (Pasteur Street Brewing Company) has carefully developed over 70 unique beers and has grown through 3 breweries all while preserving the highest standard of quality.

The Beer Masons recently launched their second bar –after Koh Tao, which offers 127 different craft beers from world top brewers – Their second branch, taproom on Koh Samui, is currently serving 10 rotating taps with beers and ciders from famous names such as:

-Mikkeller (Denmark), To Øl (Denmark), Amager (Denmark), Modern Times (USA), AleSmith (USA), Mikkeller SD (USA), 18th Street Brewery (USA), Zeffer Cider (NZ), 8Wired (NZ), Epic Brewing (NZ), Nomad (Australia), Boxing Cat (China), Birra Del Borgo (Italy), Lervig (Norway), Omnipollo (Sweden) and more…

PSBC uses as many local ingredients as possible; for the event on 2nd of April you can expect Jasmine IPA, Spiced Island Saison; a Passion-fruit Wheat, Pomelo IPA, Honey rye IPA, Hefeweizen, and Cyclo Stout – This cacao monster just brought Vietnam its first ever gold medal in the World Beer Cup, the most prestigious beer competition on earth!
