Thai air force welcomes first five female pilot trainees

The Commander-in-Chief of the Chief of The Royal Thai Air Force welcomed the air force’s first five female pilot trainees, praising the event as historical event in the branch’s 79-year history.

ACM Treetod Sonjance delivered praising remarks to the 5 new female trainees, 3 of which are military officers and 2 civilians.

He said that both military and civilian pilots must adhere to the same mission standards, demonstrating both physical and mental readiness, especially during combat missions. He noted that the inclusion of 5 female pilots into the air force serves to prove that capabilities between genders are equal, and urged the them to take pride in their work.
