OZO Chaweng Samui has opened its doors on the Thai island of Koh Samui. Located in the popular and central resort area, Chaweng, the new OZO will be the brands first in Thailand as well as its first resort. OZO is aimed at travellers looking for insider experiences and a great sleep, revitalising the idea of smart travel.
OZO Chaweng’s ‘Snooze Zone’ consists of 208 sleep inducing guest rooms, including the idyllic ocean facing ‘Dream Beach’ rooms giving direct access to the white sand of Chaweng beach. Superb bedding and cleverly designed spaces give guests just what they need for the perfect night’s sleep. And of course, all the up-to-date amenities to keep them connected, including IPTV, a multimedia connectivity panel and free Wi-Fi internet access throughout.
A healthy breakfast and espresso jolt at ‘EAT’ will invigorate the mornings, whilst the chatty staff and interactive orientation screens at the ‘Spot’ will give guests all the area info they need to dive into their day. Set on a picturesque stretch of beach, the hotel’s recreational facilities include: ‘Splash’ swimming pool, ‘Tone’ gym, two restaurants, including gourmet burger restaurant ‘Stacked’ and a beach bar.
Ingo Domaschke, General Manager of OZO Chaweng commented: “It is incredibly exciting to be launching the first OZO resort, here in Thailand, the base for ONYX Hospitality Group. The brand gives us a number of opportunities to have fun whilst also offering a strong mid-range product to our guests. We pride ourselves on the OZO sleep experience, which is enhanced by the design of each guest room and the quality of the bed we provide. There are also a number of OZO touch points which are designed to make people happy, from the sheep counting screen saver on the in room TV, through to our complimentary bedtime ‘doze-off’ drinks served at the Spot. Myself and the team are looking forward to welcoming our first guests to the resort and seeing them smile.”
