Five naval officers were killed in a fatal road accident on a highway in Khirirat Nikhom district of Surat Thani province Monday evening.
The five victims were travelling in a Toyota van in a convoy on their way back to base after having inspected the work of mobile development unit of the Royal Thai Navy in Surat Thani. The inspection team was led by Admiral Thanarat Ubon, deputy chief of staff of the RTN.
