Kiwi man learns a harsh lesson after asking a lady boy to help him at the ATM

Bernard John Griffiths, 65, from New Zealand learned a harsh lesson in Pattay over the Christmas period when he met up with a ladyboy while strolling in Pattaya’s red light district and agreed to meet up for a drink in a bar.

After enjoying some drinks Griffiths found himself short of cash to pay his bill and went to the nearest ATM with the ladyboy. Forgetting to press the button for the English menu, Griffiths struggled the read the Thai instructions on the screen so gave the ladyboy his pin code, she helpfully ladyboyswithdrew ten thousand baht for him.

The pair then went off to the Lucifer Disco where they shared a beer that Griffiths saw the ladyboy shake up before he consumed it. He then passed out in the corner and woke up twenty minutes later to find himself alone and without his wallet. He was also missing a diamond ring, a gold necklace and the ten thousand baht the lady boy helped him withdraw from the ATM earlier in the evening.

He then made his way to the police station where he reported the crime. The ladyboy was later arrested after the police viewed the CCTV footage. She admitted giving the man alprazolam, a sedative. When the police searched her bag they found a knife and a camera belonging to a 35 year old Russian man how had reported them stolen a day earlier.
