Mother thanks Samui rescue crews for saving her son’s life

On Feb. 26 my son, visiting from Canada with his girlfriend, slipped and fell 35-40 ft. from the cliffs here on Samui.
I was told that it took 12 people 2 hours to bring him down and that there was also a doctor there by pure chance.  Because of this huge generous effort made by people, at risk to themselves, he did not bleed to death and I have not lost my only son. My family in Canada are also grateful and we want to send all our thanks to those involved.  Words cannot ever express my gratitude and how much I love your humanity and how I wish all the best of life for you.
The doctors at Bangkok Samui Hospital and the nursing staff have been attentive and wonderful.
So many people have been so kind to me while I have been here.  This is a beautiful country because of these people.
Although he is badly broken  and my heart is hurting for him  we will be well again one day thanks to the kindness of people we may never meet.
