Pattaya police in urgent public appeal for information about missing Thai/US kids

Pattaya police are stepping up the search for three missing Thai/US children who have been taken away from their two Thai mothers.

The children are with a woman called Kesri otherwise known as Kaet and may be in the Pattaya area after they were seen in a condominium in South Pattaya, reported Sanook.

The children all belong to a US missionary who Chatchaporn Patrasiriporn of the Pattaya police said was called David. (He was given the assumed name of Peter in the initial Thaivisa report yesterday).

David has now gone to work in Vietnam.

Chatchaporn said David took the children from their mothers who were looking after them and gave them to his third wife who was staying at a condo in Pattaya.

But when the first two wives – who said they have the legal right to look after the children – reported the matter and started a social media hunt the third wife left the condo with the three children.

Police have staked out the place without success.

Kaet is 20 years old. The children are made up of a six year old boy, a six year old girl and a one year old girl.

Chatchaporn asked for members of the public with information to call him direct on 085 363 9935.

He named the birth mothers as Busara, 32, from Payao who is the mother of the boy and Uraiwan, 29, from Sisaket who is the mother of the two daughters.

Sanook reporters who went to the resort yesterday spoke to a person called Opal, 29, who claimed to have seen the children and Kaet getting off a baht bus near the end of Soi 8 on Sai 2 road two days ago.

Opal said she thought nothing of it at the time but since the story broke she remembered the children who were “luuk kreung” (children of mixed parentage) and were speaking Thai with a young woman who got off the bus with them.
