Social Development and Human Security Ministry, Drunk Don’t Drive Foundation and private networks organize Drunk Don’t Drive Chinese New Year campaign

The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS), Don’t Drive Drunk Foundation are organizing the Don’t Drink and Drive campaign during the Chinese New Year 2017.

Adul Saengsingkaew presided over the opening ceremony of the Don’t Drive Drunk campaign for the Chinese New Year to reduce accidents during the festival, as tribute to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Mangkornkamalawas temple.

The event was attended by the Don’t Drive Drunk Foundation’s Secretary General Taeching Siriphanit and members from the government and network agencies from the private sector.

3,000 Pixiu coins were distributed to volunteers from the Por Tek Tung Foundation. More Pixiu coins will be distributed to individuals born in the Year of the Chicken for good fortune and as reminders against driving under the influence.

Individuals who wish to receive this year’s Pixiu coins can send a letter with a five-baht stamp to the Don’t Drive Drunk Foundation within 31 January.
