The Ministry of Labor is confident that Thailand will receive an upgrade in the U.S. Trafficking in Persons Report within the next three months.

Thailand human traffickingMinistry Spokesperson Teerapol Khunmuang said that Thailand has submitted a new progress report to the U.S., after relevant agencies were told to ensure that every human rights law was not being compromised.

It was a move aimed at solving issues related to human trafficking and illegal migrants more comprehensively. Mr. Teerapol is positive Thailand’s ranking will improve when the report comes out in June.
