The ultimate relaxation experience for Mothers Day at Thaisolate

In honor of the Queen’s Birthday the team at the Thaisloate Spa are offering 50% off all of their floatation packages on the 11th and 12th of August. What better way to honor your Mother than to give her the ultimate in relaxation therapy.

floatation tank 2Thaisolate are the first and, at present, the only specialized float center in Thailand. So what is a floatation tank, well it is a pod with water mixed with 600kg of Epson salt, a highly buoyant combination that allows you to enjoy zero gravity. The liquid and air are set to body temperature. Spending time in a floatation tank removes all external stimuli and you will float weightlessly without sight, sound, hot, cold, left right, up or down. Here you will be able to become a floating consciousness with nothing left but the self thus enabling deep thoughts, powerful realizations, heightened creativity, total relaxation and true peace. Here you can spend an hour, two hours or four hours.

You can wear swimwear if you like but enjoying the experience naked is recommended. Don’t worry the filters ensure that the tank is immaculately clean hygienic ready for the next user and high levels of magnesium sulfate (Epson salts) provide and atmosphere in which bacteria cannot survive.

To really lose yourself it is a good idea to indulge in some sensory deprivation and although floating in a tank in the dark with no sound may sound claustrophobic in fact it is the total opposite and gives you a feeling of floating in an endless space. If you find that rather too intimidating then you can enjoy the experience with lights and music and if that is still more than you are ready to experience then simply keep the lid up and just enjoy the sensation of floating.

floatation tank 1Of course the door opens from the inside, there is an alarm button if you find the feeling a little overwhelming and you can control the lights yourself. You can also chose whether you have music for the duration of your floating time or not by just telling the staff before you get in. For those who would like to find their own space the lights normally fade after about five minutes followed by the music as you drift off into your own private space.

The Thaisolate team will be on hand, before, during and after your experience, to help you, guide you and share your experience with you.

So this Mothers Day why not let your Mum indulge, or just enjoy the experience yourself at 50% of the usual price. Booking is advised.

Thaisolate can be found in between Makro and Tesco on the Tesco side opposite the wasteland before the turning left to Thai International Hospital
