The Met office announced today that Thailand can expect a further drop in temperatures of around 3-5 degrees over the next few days in the hilly areas.
Those living in elevated areas were warned to take note and prepare accordingly, reports Daily News.
Meanwhile a depression in the Gulf of Thailand continues to cause rain – light showers can be expected in Bangkok and the Eastern Seaboard while areas further south will experience more rain from Nakorn Sri Thammarat through Chumporn to Prajuab Khiri Khan.
High seas are also expected in the gulf with waves of 2-3 meters until Monday. People heading out to sea were warned to take note.
