11 THAI’s passengers and crew members injured from air turbulence

Eleven passengers and crew members of a THAI’s flight from Narita to Bangkok were injured when the plane encountered air turbulence mid-air on Thursday.
All the injured have been sent to a hospital in Bangkok for medical treatment after the plane landed safely at Suvarnabhumi international airport Thursday afternoon.
Thai Airways International’s president Mr Jarumporn Chotikasathien said that the Airbus A340-600 left Narita international airport at 10.36 am bound for Bangkok with 227 passengers and 22 crew members.
As the plane was cruising at an altitude of 21,000 feet, he said there was an air turbulence causing injuries to 11 passengers and crews.
Mr Jaruporn said the airline apologised the passengers for the incident and would take care of all the medical bills of the injured passengers and crew members.
He later paid a visit to the injured.
