37 year old French man found dead in Phuket

In Phuket a French national has been found dead in his rental room at the Morgot Resort in Chalong. The 37 year old man was discovered in his underwear in a pool of blood on a partly stripped mattress. There was evidence of blunt trauma to the side of his head. The police have said that they believe he had been dead for about five hours in his discovery at 1.45pm. Capt Kraisorn Boonprasop of the Chalong police said the room looked as if it had been ransacked. “We think someone stole his laptop after the attack, as the resort owner saw the man carry one in, but we couldn’t find it when we searched the room.” He said in a report by the Phuket Gazette
