A great place for dinner with an interesting name

I have just had dinner in the Ly-Ma-Sam restaurant situated at the beginning of Ghost road in Bangrak. This venue used to be called La Boule, however, a new French owner took over a month or two ago and she provides excellent French fare at a reasonable cost. Ossa Bucco (hardly French_) worked out at under THB 300 a plate. It was accompanied by a very ample green salad and fettuccini as well a French bread olives and peanuts. For two us the bill came to just over THB 700 and that included wine. Give it a try. I think you’ll be agreeably surprised. Interestingly the name of the restaurant Ly-Ma-Sam was dirived from abbreviations of the places “La Patronne” has lived and worked: Ly= Lyons. Ma= Morocco (makes sense in French) and Sam = Samui.
