A great value cafe/bar in Nathon

Even if you are not feeling the pinch it is always nice to find true value for money no matter what you are shopping for, eating or drinking. One little spot that is doing just that, is the SeeFaa Bar and Café in Nathon.
This fabulous little café can be found at the south end of the one way system on the corner as you turn right onto the ocean front road. SeeFaa has both indoor and outdoor seating and a surprisingly low cost menu.
The menu has some super value breakfasts including full English and vegetarian options. The menu has light dishes such as homemade hummus, Vietnamese style spring rolls, delicious King Prawns on lemon grass skewers and some hearty baked potatoes that come loaded with a range of tasty fillings.
There is a simple but good for value sandwiches, wraps and baguette selection, the beef and horseradish sauce is well worth a try, as is the pork and apple sauce, carrot and hummus is a great option if you are vegetarian and the cheese and pickle comes loaded with Cheddar cheese and as much pickle as anybody could handle and there is nothing in this section over one hundred and forty baht. Equally good value are the pasta dishes, pork loin, steak and either fish or chicken and chips. If you are after traditional English fare try the ham egg and chips, bangers and mash or cottage pie. If you are in the mood for something healthy the warm chicken and bacon salad with honey and mustard dressing is worth a try as is the mozzarella and mango salad with a passion fruit dressing.
There are some great healthy smoothies on the menu as well, Pass ‘n’ Shoot contains a superb combination of passion fruit, orange, pineapple and mango, the Kiwi Kiss has kiwi, pineapple and banana, the delicious Bango has banana, mango and honey and the Berry Go Round has blueberry, strawberry, apple and banana, the smoothes come with or without yoghurt depending on your preference. Just about every style of coffee you can think of can be purchased for sixty baht or less, and the cocktail menu is equally affordable and has a house special section the Samui Iced Tea comes highly recommend and contains 42 Below passion fruit vodka, Tanqueray gin, Havana club 3 year old golden rum, Tre Magueyes Blanco tequila and banana liqueur shaken with lime and topped with 100% pineapple and mango juice! There is a full, authentic and and affordable Thai menu to boot!
So next time you want to grab some satisfying and affordable food, drinks and cocktails head on down to SeeFaa, it is well worth a try.
