A message from the Dog and Cat Rescue Samui Foundation

While we celebrated Christmas with our friends and family in Germany, our team of long term volunteers, our manager Wit and helpers have given their best to make sure that also over the celebration days, the dogs and cats on the island were getting the help needed. Thankfully things have not been overly crazy over the last week and therefore the DRCS-Team has everything under control and things are going smoothly.
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to our long-year supporters the Tongsai Bay Hotel who have been our best supporter on the island for absolute ever. Maew from the Tongsai Bay came by our office the other day and handed over a huge amount of badly needed towels for our puppies and sick animals. Especially during the monsoon months, we always run out of towels and things to keep our 4-legged friends in need of help dry. We’d also like to mention all the hotels and restaurants who let us pick up the food leftovers for our 350 dogs (Due to logistic problems, we can only pick up in Chaweng, Chong Mon and Lamai). A big THANK YOU to:
Nora Beach, Kanda Buri, Moonlight, Akira, Kulai Pan, Amari Palm Reef, Miss Samui, Montien House, Orchid, Siam Dreams, Chaweng Buri, Andama
Zico’s, Deli Shop, Poppies, First House, Impiana, Saba, Silah Wadee, Beach Republic, Scala, and Nicky Beach.
If you’re in a position to spear some towels for us, please come by our office in Chaweng or just give us a call, we would be happy to come and collect them. Thank you in advance!
