Accident at Khon Kaen Zoo kills four and injures thirty

On Sunday a two car tram overturned at the Khon Kaen Zoo, according to Tawin Ratanawongsawat, the director of the zoo the accident was caused by break failure.
The zoo, located 500 kilometers north-east of Bangkok, has so far not been able to confirm the number of casualties but it is believed that four died in the incident and thirty more were injured. Shortly after the incident the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals.
The tram is used to transport visitors around the zoo that covers an area of around 3,000 acres. Visitors have the choice of the tram or a private golf buggy to travel around. The zoo houses many exotic animals including white lions and tigers. The zoo is now closed pending the outcome of an investigation.
