Aid is poured into flood-hit South

Many sectors in the society have sent donations to the southern provinces affected by the flooding conditions.
Samut Sakhon province on Sunday sent supplies and food to a disaster prevention and mitigation center in Surat Thani for distribution to the flood-affected people in the southern region.
Provincial Governor of Pathum Thani Surachai Khan-arsa and his staff gave three tons of rice and 20,000 eggs to the Princess Pa Foundation for the flood-hit provinces. 12 trucks will bring items donated by people in Pathum Thani to the provinces on Monday.
The State Railway of Thailand is receiving donations including rice, drinking water, canned food, medications and other necessary items for the flood-affected people.
Commander of the Bangkok Naval Base Rear Admiral Wasinsan Chanthawarin on Sunday presided over the opening ceremony of a donation center for the southern provinces.
