Air Asia magazine containing an article boasting its pilots would never lose a plane is withdrawn

There were some red faces at Air Asia this weekend, after an article in the airlines latest inflight magazine boasted that their well trained pilots would never lose a plane.
On Saturday Kamarudian Meranun, the Executive chairman expressed his “deep regret and remorse” over the article that he claims was printed before Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 disappeared along with 239 passengers and crew on board en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. He went on to say that disciplinary action would be taken against those in the editorial team that were responsible for the oversight.
AirAsia, Southeast Asia’s biggest budget carrier and one of the world’s most successful airlines, sparked some very negative feedback on social networks after one passenger posted a photograph of the text in the article that read “Pilot training in AirAsia is continuous and very thorough. Rest assured that your captain is well prepared to ensure your plane will never get lost.”
