Amari Koh Samui Celebrates Its Reopening after a Year-long Refurbishment Programme

Amari Koh Samui is now open! Visiting guests will delight seeing and experiencing the bright and comfortable spacious surroundings, highlighting the warm, Thai-inspired design elements with a contemporary twist. The resort comprises of 197 guest rooms across three wings – the Garden Wing, Thai Village Wing and Beach Wing, with room categories to fit all travel needs, from the comfortable superior rooms overlooking the lush gardens, to the spacious two-bedroom suite for the perfect family getaway.
Along with its new look, Amari Koh Samui is also happy to introduce a new dining option, the first Amaya Food Gallery in Thailand. An Amari brand concept inspired by the well-loved street markets of Asia, Amaya Food Gallery is an all-day dining venue presenting food choices from across Asia, served in interactive open kitchens. Guests can also enjoy a quick drink during sunset at Amaya Bar, or grab a quick snack or afternoon treat at Amaya Café.
Also, new to the resort is the Voyager Lounge, offering a cool escape from the sun and allowing guests to catch up on their reading or a board game. Meanwhile, Prego, the island’s favourite Italian restaurant, will reopen with a fresh new look.
Amari Koh Samui General Manager, Ingo Domaschke, said:
“Having been in operation for over 25 years, Amari Koh Samui is one of the most popular resorts on Chaweng Beach, attracting a significant number of repeat visitors year after year. As our guests’ needs continue to evolve, we recognise the importance of re-energising our physical spaces, whilst still retaining the original hospitality and charm. The resort’s brand-new look is fantastic, very contemporary and above all, comfortable and functional. Amari is all about offering guests the warmth and energy of Asia. With this resort, we are proud to offer a new look, backed by the same hospitality and service that make us unique.”
To celebrate its reopening, Amari Koh Samui is offering a special deal, the Stay-Three, Pay-Two offer, for stays from now to 31 July 2016, with rates starting at 7,950 THB ++ per night in a Superior Garden Wing room. For more information or reservations, please visit www.amari.com/koh-samui/
