American man arrested for the murder of woman found in a bag on the roof of a restaurant

In Udon Thani an American national has been arrested for the murder of a Thai woman whose body was discovered in a bag on the roof of the Le Petite Planete restaurant in Pattaya. The girl was later identified as Ms. Anutsara Paja (Nam) aged 19. She came from the Buriram Province.
When the police interviewed the woman’s friends they were informed that she had planned a trip with some friends, both Thai and foreigners, to Koh Lan Island. One witness said that she saw Ms. Anutsara packing her back in her room, and later saw Mr Tim walk to the ground floor and then walk off alone. She said that she thought it was suspicious because he did not let anybody know where he was going. She waited for her friend to emerge from the room but after some time, when she did not appear she entered the room to find her friend only to discover the room was empty. After a few days of her absence they called the police who later made the grim discovery of her body on the roof and identified her from her ankle bracelet.
