Arrest warrants to be issued for seven suspects in the Central Festival car bomb

According to reports the police are gathering evidence to seek court approval to issue seven arrest warrants in connection with the Central Festival bomb on April 10th. The police believe that the suspects were assigned specific tasks prior to the attack, such as recruiting accomplices, gathering vehicles as well as tools and equipment used to make the explosive device.
Seeking court approval for the arrest warrants may take some time and the police have urged the public not to put pressure on the authorities to rush the investigation as insufficient evidence could result in the courts dismissing warrant requests.
So far the police have not been able to release any details in regards the question of political figures being involved in the attack as the investigation is still ongoing. However former Pheu Thai MP Wan Muhammad Nor Matha denied that the Wadah group of influential Muslim politicians lead by himself were involved and insisted that the group, based in the deep south, had nothing to do with it.
