Australian arrested in Bangkok for grooming children on the internet

A joint operation of Australian police, Australian embassy officials and local police resulted in the arrest of a 62 year old Australian man in the Lat Prao area of Bangkok on Tuesday.
He could be jailed for five years on charges of grooming children, producing and sharing indecent images. He admitted the charges , police said reported tnamcot.
Stephen Lee Cornu denied another charge of molesting his own adopted daughter. He lived in the Happy Land area of the eastern suburb with his Thai wife and her biological child.
Lat Prao police armed with an arrest warrant took away a computer while investigative officers pored over the two storey house where the Australian was living. He had just returned to Thailand on Monday.
The Thai authorities had earlier received information about the man from their counterparts in Australia.
