Bangkok district holds charity event in honor of HM the King

Government agencies, the private sector, and the general public have organized activities to celebrate the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Rama X on July 28th and to show gratitude for His Majesty’s contributions to the people.
Bangkok’s Samphanthawong District Office has collaborated with the Royal Thai Army Nursing College, the private sector, and the general public to organize a charity and scholarship event to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn at Wat Samphanthawong.
Deputy Bangkok Governor Taweesak Lertprapan and Director of the Royal Thai Army Nursing College Maj Gen Angkhana Sumetsitikul awarded scholarships, disability grants, and wheelchairs to the underprivileged and impoverished in Samphanthawong district in honor of His Majesty the King.
The event also provided free health checks and flu vaccines for monks, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups. Volunteers also conducted a cleanup of Wat Samphanthawong to express love, unity, and devotion to the monarchy.
