Bangkok schools cope with cold conditions

Students throughout Bangkok were seen in winter clothes for the first time this cool season today, with plunging temperatures forcing schools to aid children in staying warm.
Temperatures at Samsen Nok School this morning were measured at 17 degrees Celsius with strong winds. Students at the school were encouraged to wear sweaters and jackets to ensure they remain warm throughout the day. The cooler climate has been welcomed by most of the students who noted they have been waiting for the cool season to begin.
At Phrompan Wittaya School in Bangkok’s Din Daeng district, teachers had to lead students on a round of exercises in the morning to help them cope with the cold.
