Bidding for Human Rights and Democracy Programme in Thailand starts

British Embassy in Bangkok is pleased to announce a call for bids to the FCO’s Human Rights and Democracy Programme fund.
We are pleased to announce the 2014/15 call for bids. In the first instance we will require submission of a concept note by 28 February – please see the attached bidding form and its guidelines (MS Word Document, 296KB) . In Thailand we shall consider bids within the following thematic areas:
- global torture prevention
- promotion and protection of freedom of expression
- business and human rights
- preventing sexual violence in conflict

Human Rights and Democracy Programme: 2014/2015
The Human Rights and Democracy Programme (HRDP) is the FCO’s dedicated fund supporting human rights and democracy work overseas. The Programme aims to make a difference to people’s lives, helping to build the capacity of governments and civil society to promote and protect human rights. In 2013/14, we supported over 80 projects worldwide.
