Winners of the Samui Times Best Burger in Koh Samui Competition Bondi Aussie Bar & Grill, have a lot more to boast about than simply being home to the best burgers on the island. Located in the heart of Chaweng, this popular, three floor, Aussie bar has a fabulous menu of popular Aussie and international dishes that are all cooked to perfection, generous in size and mouthwateringly delicious.
It goes without saying that the burgers are not to be missed, but neither are the BBQ ribs, the gourmet pizzas, flame grilled steaks or any of the other dishes on the menu for that matter. You can enjoy the Bondi’s culinary delights on the front balcony, where you can also enjoy a spot of people watching, which is always entertaining in Chaweng, in the spacious bar area, or in the second floor air-conditioned dining area. The Bondi does not fall short in the entertainment department either. There is live music every night of the week. There are fifteen screens that can show up to eight sporting events simultaneously, including Football, Rugby, Cricket, Golf, AFL, Cycling, and NRL, Bike Racing and NRL. Details of the screened sporting events can be found on their website. There is also a shuffle board and two top class pool tables on the top floor.
Talking of the top floor, here you will find a fabulous function room that can accommodate sixty guests. The room is fully air conditioned and has a bar as well as a balcony. This is a superb space to rent for any event, but lends itself particularly well to stag and hen nights. The thoughtful layout of the bar makes this the perfect venue for social drinking. The bar itself is vast and has plenty of space for groups to chat together and of course to make new friends. The seating area on the lower floor has enough space for big groups to mingle and enough space for more intimate gatherings to have some privacy. All of the drinks in the Bondi are just as you would expect for a bar of this size and quality, however if you are a Mojito fan you will be particularly impressed with the bars Mojito Madness where its ‘buy one get one free’ between 4pm and 6pm and 10pm and 12pm.
The Bondi in Chaweng has been enjoying some
fair dinkum success for almost four years, and for the last two years so has the Bondi in Lamai that can be found between the Fusion Club and McDonalds. At both venues you will be welcomed and served by friendly, enthusiastic and highly trained staff, who clearly enjoy being in the Bondi as much as the customers. And finally there is great news for the population of Phuket, as the Bondi opens its doors in Patong later on this year.
