Brit and Canadian arrested after police bust HUGE cannabis oil operation in Bangkok

Two foreign men, along with two Thais have been arrested on drug charges following a raid on a warehouse in Bangkok, Thai police said on Thursday.
Joseph Toole, 64 from the UK and 67 year old David Kulik from Canada were arrested on Monday in Chonburi.
Their arrests came officers from Thailand’s Narcotics Suppression Division raided the warehouse in the Bang Phli area of Samut Prakan.
Police say that for more than 1 year the men have been using the warehouse to produce large quantities of cannabis oil.
Following the raid, police seized 70 kg of cannabis oil and 6.6 kg of cannabis resin.
Police say the men arranged for the cannabis to be smuggled to the warehouse from drug gangs in Laos. The cannabis oil was then exported to Belgium and other European countries.
Deputy police chief Chalermkat Sriworakan said that Kulik helped finance the operation, while Toole, a former doctor, masterminded the production of the oil.
A Japanese national is believed to head the operation, police said.
At a press conference in Bangkok police also announced the seizure of more than a million methamphetamine tablets that were seized during unrelated raids.
