British backpacker who went missing in Thailand returns home

A 21 year old British backpacker who cause panic and chaos when she went off the radar in Thailand has returned home to the UK.Grace Taylor hit the headlines when her mother reached out on social media to the backpacking community after losing touch with her daughter who was travelling in Thailand alone. After one week of no contact Grace phoned her mother from Krabi sounding distressed. She told her mother she was scared and people were trying to hurt her. Grace’s mother then arranged for her daughter to fly home via Krabi airport but she failed to board the flight.
After being reported a missing person in both Thailand and the UK Grace was found a day later by airport staff at Krabi airport who said the young woman appeared to be distressed. According to local reports a caring staff member at the airport managed to calm the girl down in time for the arrival of her uncle who escorted her back to the UK.
