British man arrested for assaulting Algerian man in Pattaya

Police in Pattaya arrested a British man for assaulting an Algerian man in south Pattaya.
Police and rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation attended the scene at 4.30am on Sunday morning after reports that a foreigner had been injured after being involved with an altercation with another foreigner.
At the scene was an Algerian man identified as MR.ANTER YOUCEFI, 34, who had suffered a serious head wound.
Witnesses told police the unidentified British man had attacked the Algerian on Walking Street but it wasn’t immediately clear why.
Police said the British man, who is now in police custody was drunk and that they will study CCTV footage of the incident as part of their investigations.
