Thalang phuketLocal reports suggest that the man had hailed a taxi on the island along with a male friend and instructed the driver to take him to a place he could shoot. During that journey he was heard having a heated argument with somebody on the telephone.

The man was dropped off at the Thalang Shooting range. He then hired an 11mm handgun and fired a magazine of six bullets at a target. He then asked staff for three more bullets which he used to shoot himself in the head in front of stocked staff.
