British National shot by his Thai boyfriend in Pattaya

On Wednesday afternoon 67 year old Colin Thomas Gardiner was shot by his Thai boyfriend in front of a South Pattaya Apartment Complex. Police and medics were called to the scene, close to the Bali Hai Overpass. The victim was discovered in semi conscious state with a gunshot wound to his neck.
The alleged shooter Khun Tiradaet, 33, was arrested nearby after he attempted to flee the scene of the shooting with a 38 caliber handgun. Staff from the apartments told the police that Khun Tiradaet has moved into the apartments two days earlier and was visited by his English partner daily. On the day of the shooting the pair met as usual and no sounds of any argument were heard before two gun shots rang out. After the shots staff witnessed the victim clutching his neck on the floor.
