A British man was arrested Thursday morning for spray painting a wall at a railway station.

Briton Arrested For Spray Painting Chiang Mai Railway Station | News by Samui TimesWilliam Brian Zielinski, 38, was fined 4,000 baht after railway staff Somkid Deeloy filed a complaint against him to police for spray painting a wall at about 9am on Thursday in Chiang Mai Railway station.

The man, who initially denied any wrongdoing, was taken to the Mae Ping Police Station and reportedly confessed after Somkid showed officers a photo in which he appeared to tag the wall, Capt. Pongsak Tiwanna said.

After negotiation, Zielinski paid Somkid 4,000 baht to have the wall repainted before he was released.
