Two brothers have been charged with murder over the death of a man in Kanchanaburi last month.
3000-baht-murderSomkhit Phanthara, 39, was attacked with a scythe because he owed the brothers just 3,000 baht from a Ya Ba deal.
Wallop Chomcheun, 21, had arrived with his brother on a motorbike on September 23rd and been invited into the Sai Yok district house for a drink.
But when the conversation turned to the debt an argument broke out and Somkhit was attacked.
He was nearly decapitated after he was hit in the neck four times. The assailants then stole his phone and his TV before fleeing the scene.
Wallop was taken on a reenactment on Saturday morning. The other assailant was referred to only as “Daeng”, 17, who is Wallop’s brother.
