Cancer doctor warns patients about vaping cannabis oil

A cancer specialist at a leading Bangkok hospital has warned those suffering from the disease not to take matters into their own hands and treat themselves by vaping cannabis oil.

A case came to light when a 48 year old man went to Ramathibodi Hospital where he was diagnosed with lung cancer in February.
He had regular treatment and showed improvement but then started vaping cannabis oil and had a severe relapse.
He was admitted and had to be put on oxygen though his symptoms have now improved.
A cancer specialist at the hospital advised people against the practice of vaping.
Medicinal marihuana to alleviate the effects of chemotherapy or radiotherapy should be taken in other forms.
Vaping – especially for lung cancer sufferers – could lead to other problems.
