Case of missing granny with dementia solved – skeletal remains found in cassava field in Phetchabun

Police in Nong Phai district of Phetchabun were called after a cassava farmer harvesting his crop found a skull and other skeletal remains.
Sangwan said he had been with his wife in the field when he made the discovery and called the cops.

Soon on the scene was Pranorm, 49, who recognized a piece of clothing that he had washed for his mother that was found near the skull.
He was sure this was his mother, Samree, 76.
Back on the 23rd of June last year his mother, who suffered from dementia, had gone missing without trace.
Relatives looked everywhere and had continued to search for her to this day, he said.
