CCSA revises zoning: No more “dark red” zones with nightly curfews

No provinces will be under a mandated nightly curfew starting December 1. The CCSA approved new zoning today, reclassifying several provinces on its colour-coded zoning scale based on Covid-19 infection rates and reopening measures. Under the revised zoning, there are no provinces classified as “dark red” with stay-at-home orders.

Kanchanaburi, Nonthaburi, and Pathum Thani were reclassified as “blue zones,” or pilot tourism areas, which are reopened to travellers entering the country from overseas.

Red zones

Khon Kaen, Chanthaburi, Chumphon, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Trang, Trat, Tak, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Narathiwat, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachinburi, Pattani, Ayutthaya, Phatthalung, Yala, Rayong, Songkhla, Satun, Saraburi, Sa Kaeo, Surat Thani

Orange zones

Chachoengsao, Chai Nat, Chaiyaphum, Chon Buri, Kahon Nayok, Nakhon Pathom, Phitsanulok, Phetchaburi, Phetchabun, Mae Hong Son, Ranong, Ratchaburi, Lop Buri, Lampang, Lamphun, Samut Prakan, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Singburi, Suphanburi, Ang Thong, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani

Yellow zones

Kalasin, Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Sawan, Nan, Bueng Kan, Buriram, Phayao, Phichit, Phrae, Maha Sarakham, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Roi Et, Loei, Sisaket, Sakhon Nakhon, Sukhothai, Surin, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lamphu, Uttaradit, Uthai Thani, Amnat Charoen

Blue zones

Bangko, Krabi, Kanchanaburi, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phang Nga, Phuket (19 other provinces have districts classified as blue zones, but were not named by the CCSA.)
