Chemicals burn as pick-up goes up in flames in street near Bangkok

A Toyota Revo pick-up carrying 3 tons of 50% Hydrogen Peroxide burst into flames in the street in North Samrong south of Bangkok yesterday.
Driver Janepop, 24, said he had picked up the consignment for delivery to a customer in Chanthaburi.

He noticed liquid dribbling over his windshield but carried on not particularly concerned.
Next he saw smoke and decided to pull over.
When he saw flame he fled for his life.
Firemen took 30 minutes to bring the blaze on Sukhumvit Road under control.
