Chinaman severely injured falling off baht bus

A Chinese tourist, allegedly showing off to his traveling companions, was seriously injured when he fell off the back of a baht bus.

Katak Ho, 27, received major head injuries at 4 in the morning on Sept. 30, while traveling along Thappraya Road heading to Jomtien Beach.
The unknown baht bus driver fled the scene after taking Ho’s compatriots to their hotel to retrieve Ho’s identification and returning them to the scene. He left before police arrived.
An unnamed friend of Ho’s at the scene told police they had flagged down the baht bus to take them to their hotel. He said Ho “teased his friends” at the rear of the vehicle but fell.
Ho was treated at the scene, then transferred to hospital in critical condition.
Police are looking for the driver.
