Couple, son killed in Chiang Mai house fire

A couple and their two-year-old son were killed when their house in Chiang Mai was engulfed in a fire early Tuesday, police said.
Police were alerted of the fire at a two-floor house in Ban Pa Tun village in Tambon Pa Tun, Muang district at 5.30am.
After the fire was put out, three charred bodies were found inside. They were identified as Banthit Thongkham, 29, Panika Thongkham, 28, and Nawapol Thongkham, 2.
Police have yet to investigate the cause of the fire.
