Dead body found in a bag in Pattaya forest

On Thursday night the decomposing body of a female was found in a bag in a forest in East Pattaya. The partially clothed woman had her hands and legs bound together with electric cable. Police and rescue workers who rushed to the scene said she had died at least one month before she was discovered. The police believe she died before she was dumped in the forest.
The grisly discovery was made by Khun Boonsong, 49, who works only 200 meters from the forest in a hardware shop, when he was out looking for his dog and her puppies.
Police in the area are now waiting for the results of a post mortem examination to determine the reason for the woman’s death and are checking missing persons reports to help establish her identity the case is being treated as a murder investigation and not suicide.
