Dengue Fever Choeng Mon

A resident of Choengmon who lives on the Tongsai Road has contracted Dengue Fever twice along with many local residents and shop owners who have also been struck down with the mosquito born disease. Some in the area believe it is due to a dirty stinking pond on the corner of the beach road and Tongsai Road in front of the Krungsri Bank.
So far nobody is taking responsibility for the pond, local calls to the Government seem to suggest that it is privately owned, but nobody seems to know which member of the public owns it.
If anybody has any information as to who might own this ‘water feature’ please contact editor@samuitimes.com
