Dept of Disease Control to host World No Tobacco Day in Pathum Thani

The event will be held at Future Park Rangsit under this year’s slogan ‘Support the new Tobacco Act, for a better quality of life for Thai people’.
The World Health Organization (WHO) encouraged all countries to raise awareness of health risks from smoking on May 31 every year. For 2015, it is determined to stop the illicit trade of tobacco products worldwide.
Her Royal Highness Princess Somsawali will preside over the opening ceremony and present awards of recognition to individuals and organizations that have tried to stop people from smoking.
Visitors will get to enjoy various activities, as well as meet famous singers and celebrities joining the event.
