Bear Family The Bear Family came all the way from Australia to see us and brought 35kgs of goodies with them for the Dogs and Cats plus they also received donations to purchase items you see on the table from Nas Khan, Natarsha Vella, Greencross Vet – Hoppers Crossing and Best Friends – Point Cook. Thank you so much!

At the shelter we are facing a hard time at the moment, we had to temporarily stop our neutering program.

The Anesthetic-medication we usually use (Nembutal for dogs and Zolitil for cats ) has been unavailable in the whole of Thailand. We will try and get our hands on as much as possible as soon as it’s back on the market. Usually there is only a small amount available which has to be split between the veterinaries all over Thailand.

We have been forced to buy an anesthetic machine in order to do at least some operations every day. This machine costs 250,000 Baht! Donations towards it are very much appreciated!

Thank you very much for all your help. We hope we can count on your continued support so that we can make even more progress in the future. We believe our efforts to make Koh Samui more animal-friendly have made it a happier and safer place for tourists, for which the tourists are grateful. Our four-legged friends are most grateful for your contribution!

Best wishes
