Duchess of Cambridge in labor

Kensington Palace in London have announced that the Duchess of Cambridge is in labor and has been admitted to a private wing in St Mary’s hospital to give birth to the Queens third great-grandchild and the third in line to the British throne.
Barriers have been erected outside the Paddington hospital in anticipation of the large crowds that will gather there to celebrate the new addition to the royal household. The world will know of the birth when a royal aide leaves the main entrance of the Lindo wing bearing a typed medical bulletin signed by doctors at the birth, this will be taken by the aid to Buckingham Palace by car with outriders.
The age old custom of placing a proclamation on a dark wooden frame on an ornate easel behind the railings of the Buckingham Palace forecourt will announce other details such as its gender and weight.
If the child is a girl she will make history becoming the first female firstborn of a future monarch.
Kate is under the care of the Queens former gynecologist, Marcus Setchel, 69, who is being assisted by Alan Farthing, 50, who succeeded him in 2008.
Upon the birth Prince Harry will move from third to fourth in line to the throne, while the Duke of York will move to fifth position and his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, to sixth and seventh place.
