Eight Israelis hurt in a car accident in Koh Phangan

On Friday eight Israelis were involved in a car accident in Koh Phangan. All eight were injured and one of them sustained serious injuries. The accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle lost control and overturned.Seven of the eight were taken to a local clinic for treatment and the eight, who suffered the serious injures was taken to a local hospital.
According to Channel 2 the Israeli consul in Bangkok has been notified of the accident. The Israeli Foreign Ministry told the channel that the Israeli embassy is in contact with the victims and are working on having them transferred to a hospital in Koh Samui.
