Eight Taiwanese injured in van crash

Eight Taiwanese tourists were injured when a chartered van they traveled in from Phuket to Krabi crashed a roadside hill on the road to Krabi.
The incident happened at about 03.00 am today near Chong Khao junction in Ao Luek district of Krabi.
The van with 15 tourists on board was travelling from Phuket.
The van was entering a curve on the road when it ran out and crashed into the hill.
Ao Luek rescue team rushed all the injured to Ao Luek hospital. One was later transferred to Krabi hospital.
Initial questioning of witnesses showed the driver snoozed while entering the curve.
