If you fancy spending the afternoon on a beach that offers beauty and seclusion then try Silver Beach. Sliver Beach can be found by driving past Dr Froggs and The Cliff on the left hand side in between Chaweng and Lamai. There is no direct access to the beach so you will need to park up by the Thongtakian and Promtsuk Buri signs and walk through one of the resorts. The beach, that is flanked by giant granite boulders, is made up of soft white sand has some ancient trees that offer shady spots under their giant branches. There is an idea photo opportunity to be found to the right hand side of the beach if you walk as far as you can go, when you run out of beach take the little red brick steps to where some stone steps lead back down toward the ocean. At the bottom tread carefully across the coral shelf until you come to a man made coral wall. From here you can take a photograph of the whole bay. The water here is very clear and it is one of the few spots on Samui where you can snorkel and scuba dive. There are no jet skis here or beach hawkers and the handful of resorts offer great dining opportunities and refreshing drinks. There are a few massage tables to be found here, and it would be hard to imagine a place where you can enjoy oil or Thai massage in a more idyllic spot.
