Floating body found on Surin Beach matches description of 66-year-old Brit

The body of a foreigner was found floating on the morning of March 26 (story here) and has been kept at Thalang Hospital while an investigation was carried out.
Police became suspicious about a Nissan Sunny car that had been parked at a parking lot near Surin Beach.
A run of the plates led police to the owner of the vehicle, who reported that the car had been rented out to a British national named as Georges Carraz, 66, who had leased it since January 29, this year, and who had “made all his payments on time”.
Cherng Talay Police have confirmed that the man’s relatives have been notified, while doctors have yet to conclude the cause of death.
