Food Challenge at Tams Café

If you enjoy meat and have a huge appetite then you should not miss the opportunity to gorge on the Tuesday and Saturday special at Tams Bar and Café. By booking one day ahead you will be able to sink your teeth into a giant rear pork leg that has been lovingly cooked and prepared for over four hours that comes accompanied by the most delicious gravy imaginable and a either roast potatoes, bread, white or red cabbage.
So enormous is this Austrian/German feast that you will be rewarded with an Austrian shot if you managed to polish is all off, including your side dish and only leave the bone.

Tam’s Bar and Café can be found on the Chaweng ring road opposite the World Gym. Run by Austrian born Albin and his wife Tam this bar has something for everybody. Popular with Austrians and Germans this is a place where any nationality will feel more than welcome and no matter where you come from it would be hard to not enjoy the ice cold German beers and hearty Austrian and German cuisine.
Tams opens for breakfast from 8am and has a jam packed menu that will tantalize your taste buds and satisfy your appetite all day long. The restaurant area is cozy and comfortable, the large bar area has a decent pool table and a large screen TV where you can catch up on your favorite sports and there is a huge stage and entertainment area that can be closed off from the rest of the bar and is the ideal place for private parties.
Tams also have some very reasonably priced accommodation and ever though it is on the ring road it is only eight hundred meters from Chaweng Beach. Tams offer bike hire, a trips and tours booking service and visa runs.
